Kylian Mbappe will wear his trusty No.29 shirt at PSG but anyone wanting to buy his jersey from the Parisiens' club shop will have to fork out a substantial amount.

The 18-year old sensation, who scored 26 goals in all competitions in Monaco's title-winning campaign last term, trained with his new teammates at PSG's training facility for the first time today ahead of his loan move, which will become permanent for an eye-watering £166 million fee next summer.

It's already been confirmed that he will wear the same number he wore with great distinction at the Stade Louis II, taking over from Jean-Kevin Augustin, who left for RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga, at his new club.

But if you want Mbappe's name and number on the back of any of three replica kits PSG will be playing in this term, complete with the the Ligue One logo, it'll set you back a mammoth £151.68 on PSG's official store.

The 'vapor' replica shirt alone, which is the very design Unai Emery's men will wear, costs £128.70. Add in the £13.70 name and number cost, plus the sleeve badges and there's £150.00 out of your pocket.

You can get it slightly cheaper if you go through Nike's official website, with the price at £112.95 to have the replica shirt and a name on number, whether it be Mbappe's, another player's or your own. £99.95 is the set price for the replica shirt on it's own. Still, it's not exactly a bargain, is it?

Mbappe, meanwhile, has explained his reasoning for choosing to head to Paris rather than Real Madrid.

"Great players make history in their own country," he told Telefoot.

"If I had left France after six months I would have left as an eternal hope.

"When you come to Paris you are at a club that has the ambition to be the best in the world, you have come to a club that wants to play in all the competitions.

"I'm going to give everything I have got to make history with PSG."

Mbappe is second only to Neymar in the list of the world's most expensive footballers of all time, with his new Brazilian teammate arriving at the Parc des Princes for £198 million from Barcelona only a couple of weeks before the France international.

Speaking of the opportunity to play alongside the former Barcelona forward, Mbappe said, "Playing with Neymar is something extraordinary. PSG already interested me, but having Neymar is an additional boost."

Will the 18-year-old wonderkid continue where he left off and be a huge success in the French capital or will he struggle to live up to his phenomenal price tag?
