Whenever there's a huge demand for tickets to a sporting event you can always find tickets cropping up on resale sites, as fans profit from the high demand and the Women's World Cup is no different.

Tickets up for sale on StubHub, with the cheapest coming in at £500 and the most expensive single ticket available at nearly £11,000.

In comparison England's quarter-final against Norway on Thursday, where the winners will meet France or USA in the semis, are going for as cheap as £22.

The most expensive ticket for Phil Neville's side's second knockout game is just £133, showing the huge disparity between the two matches.

After the draw was made the two sides knew they would meet in the last eight, and play at the Parc des Princes, if they both topped their groups.

France beat South Korea, Norway and Nigeria in Group A to finish with maximum points and USA did the same by thumping Thailand 13-0 and beating Chile and Sweden.

On Sunday the tournament hosts needed extra-time to beat Brazil 2-1 to advance to the quarter-finals for only the second time in their history.

They would have been keen observers on Monday when USA beat Spain 2-1 but were put under a lot of pressure and needed two Megan Rapinoe penalties to win the match.

Speaking after the last 16 win about their upcoming quarter final Rapinoe said, "Hopefully (it's) a complete spectacle, just an absolute media circus. I hope it's huge and crazy; that's what it should be. This is the best game. This is what everybody wanted. I think we want it. Seems like they're up for it. You guys of course are up for it, and all the fans.

"Maybe it'll be a pretty even split between the fans in the stadium. We've been traveling pretty deep in this World Cup. So I hope it's just a total s---show circus. It's going to be totally awesome. This is what everybody wants, and these are the biggest games that you kind of dream about as a kid."

It's certainly a match that people want to see, let's hope it lives up to the hype.
