The midfielder, who won the Premier League with Leicester City three years ago, hasn't played a Premier League game for 18 months after being told my Maurizio Sarri he wasn't part of the Italian's plans at Chelsea last season.

He moved on loan to Burnley during the transfer window but had been yet to make a league debut, only playing in the Carabao Cup loss to Sunderland, and it was confirmed last week he'd be out injured for up to six weeks.
