The debate as to whether or not Harry Kane is 'world class' is pretty much over at this point, I think we can all agree he definitely isn't...It's a joke, joke- calm. The Spurs striker's sixth and seventh goals of the week caused Jamie Carragher to make a big claim.
When only Lionel Messi has scored more goals than you in the calendar year then it's fair to say that you're amongst exalted company and that is where Harry Kane is with his career right now.
Once people thought he might only be a one season wonder but now he's a player who is almost guaranteed to score whatever the match he plays in something he's proved in a quite remarkable week.

After struggling a bit at the start of the season, his usual August blues, Kane has now scored seven goals this week. A brace against West Ham last weekend, a hat-trick against APOEL Nicosia in the Champions League and another brace against Huddersfield.
The two goals on Saturday led Spurs to a 4-0 win over the Yorkshire club and led Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher to make a bold prediction but one that's starting to be difficult to argue with:
Alan Shearer currently holds the record for most Premier League goals in history. The former Newcastle United and Blackburn Rovers striker bagged 260 times in the league in his career.

Wayne Rooney is second on 200 goals but does seem unlikely to overtake Shearer before his career comes to an end in the next few years.

Kane's two goals on Saturday took him on to 84 Premier League goals and into joint 40th on the list. The brace actually tied him with Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez and just a goal behind Louis Saha and Fernando Torres.

The Spurs striker is only 24 and at the rate he's scoring at the moment he could leave Shearer in the dust.
There is a big question being asked of the England forward though as if he can stay at Tottenham and win titles or if he'll need to leave in order to do so, or even if he wants to.
