PSG Willing To Pay Paul Pogba An Astronomical Wage When His Man United Contract Expires

PSG Willing To Pay Paul Pogba An Astronomical Wage When His Man United Contract Expires

Paris Saint-Germain are set to offer Paul Pogba a huge contract.

Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to pay Paul Pogba a eye-watering contract when his Manchester United deal expires next summer.

Pogba has been the subject of intense transfer speculation, with reports linking him with a mega move away from Old Trafford.

But PSG moving for the Frenchman this summer has effectively been ruled out following the sensational acquisition of Lionel Messi.

Though it appears they will come calling again next year.

What's more, PSG are willing to table a monstrous £510,000-a-week contract to fend off interest from their European rivals, according to the Independent.

Pogba is in his sixth season at Man United after re-joining the club in 2016.

But the 2021/22 campaign could be his last in a Man United shirt, with PSG hellbent on securing his services for the 2022/23 term.

Despite uncertainty regarding his future, Pogba delivered a stellar performance in his side's Premier League opener against Leeds United last weekend.

He set up four goals as Man United smashed Leeds 5-1.

Though his future was one of the main talking points on Sunday, with Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville sharing his thoughts on Pogba's situation.

He said: "It’s an absolute given that if Paul Pogba is at Manchester United that he will need to fit into this Manchester United side and he can play anywhere across the front line against the bigger teams, or he can play deeper to unlock sides from deep.

"Manchester United needs one outstanding season from Paul Pogba, because if he leaves next summer they need one more outstanding season from him.

"I think he will be excited by the team that Manchester United are building with the players in their squad but he has got a decision to make.

"Does he want to commit his future to Manchester United? I think he has an ambition to play football somewhere else and I think that has been clear for the past couple of years.

"I think there will be part of him saying, 'I do like this team, but I do want to go to Real Madrid, I do want to go to PSG or go somewhere else.'"
