PSG slash asking price for Neymar and are 'willing to listen to offers,' three Premier League clubs linked with him

PSG slash asking price for Neymar and are 'willing to listen to offers,' three Premier League clubs linked with him

A potential Neymar exit from Paris Saint-Germain would free up the Ligue 1 club from his mammoth £606,000-per-week wages.

Paris Saint-Germain have lowered their asking price and are ready to listen to offers for Brazil superstar Neymar, according to stunning reports.

Neymar, who is under contract until 2025, arrived in the French capital in 2017 after PSG splashed out a world-record £200m transfer fee to Barcelona.

The 30-year-old PSG star has remained an integral part of the Ligue 1 club’s ambitions, despite being plagued with injuries throughout his career.

Neymar inked a new deal with PSG back in 2021, but it would now seem the Parisian-based side are willing to sell him if the right offer is made.

According to Fichajes, PSG have slashed their asking price for the former Barcelona star and are willing to ‘assess offers’ between €50m to €60m.

The publication added that offloading Neymar would free PSG from his ‘enormous salary,’ with the Brazilian reportedly earning a mammoth £606,000 per week.

The lowered asking price for Neymar could put Premier League clubs like Manchester City, Chelsea and Newcastle on red alert.

During his six seasons at PSG, Neymar has scored an impressive 115 times and registered 73 assists in 165 appearances.

Neymar has also lifted four Ligue 1 titles and two French League Cups, along with leading PSG to their first Champions League final in 2020.

The winger has returned to his best form under PSG boss Christophe Galtier this season, with Neymar scoring 15 times and picking up 13 assists in 21 appearances.

Neymar has previously spoken about his desire to play in the Premier League and claimed the top-flight English league “amazes me.”

Speaking to The Sun in 2017, he said: “The Premier League is a championship that amazes me.

“I like the playing style and the teams. And who knows, someday, I would like to play at it, yes.
