Paul Pogba Takes A Dig At Manchester United Tactics After Loss To Leicester City

Paul Pogba Takes A Dig At Manchester United Tactics After Loss To Leicester City

It was another poor day for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and United, as they lost 4-2 to Leicester City in the Premier League game.

Paul Pogba has taken a dig at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, after the Manchester United midfielder criticised the team's tactics following their loss to Leicester City.

Despite Mason Greenwood's wonder strike putting United ahead on Saturday, the team's long away unbeaten run in the league came to a shuddering halt.

Three goals in 13 second half minutes for the hosts left Solskjaer's team 4-2 down and made it just two wins in the last seven games for them.

Pogba started in midfield on Saturday, alongside Nemanja Matic, and struggled against the Foxes pairing of Youri Tielemans and Boubakary Soumare.

The World Cup winner admitted that United have been having problems for a while and have yet to sort them.

"To be honest you know, we've been having those kind of games for a long time and we haven't found the problem. We need to find what is the problem," he told Sky Sports.

"To concede goals, easy goals, stupid goals, when we know those games when you play on this pitch. The fans are gonna put pressure on us.

"We need to be more mature, play with more experience, more arrogance, in the good term, meaning that we have to take the ball and play our football.

"But now we have to find what is the key to this change, and for this game. I think that we deserved to lose the game today."

Asked about the mistakes the team have been making, the former Juventus midfielder added, "It's all of us, need to find something, we need to change something.

"I don't know if it's the mindset of all of us.

"It's frustrating because it's something that we don't understand and we have to find very fast because if you want to compete and win the title then these are the games you have to win, even though they are hard and we are playing away.

"You have to find the game, you need to find the right mentality, the right tactic to win this game.

"That's my thought and we have time to think about it and then we have to stick together and find the problem."

Pogba's performance came off the back of helping France win the Nations League, beating Belgium in the semi final and Spain in the final.

He gave a stirring half time speech during the final and it will lead fans once again questioning why he can turn on his form for his national side but not for United.

Like the midfielder, other people will be wondering if it's the tactics at Old Trafford.
