James, 33, became an unrestricted free agent after opting out of his Cleveland Cavaliers contract.
He subsequently signed a lucrative deal to join LA Lakers, penning a four-year contract worth a staggering $154 million (£116 million).

Of course, we're talking about Ibrahimovic who left Manchester United for LA Galaxy.
And he's welcomed James by taking to social media.
"Now LA has a God and a King! Zlatan welcomes @KingJames," he Tweeted accompanied with a picture of the pair.
Meanwhile, Cavs' owner Dan Gilbert thanked James for his services. "Words do not express the meaning and the feeling this accomplishment brought to the people of Northeast Ohio.

"None of this would have happened if LeBron James did not agree to come back home and lead the Cavaliers to the promised land," he added.
