Zlatan Ibrahimovic has sent Henrikh Mkhitaryan a typically brilliant message after he completed his transfer to Arsenal.

The 29-year-old leaves Old Trafford for the Emirates with Alexis Sanchez going the other.

Mkhitaryan showed a glimpse of his potential while at United following his switch from Borussia Dortmund in 2016. But failed to cement a spot in Jose Mourinho's starting XI.

The Armenian maestro will now look to break into the Arsenal fold after confessing his love for the club, supporting the Gunners as a kid.

But ahead of his Arsenal debut, United players have been wishing him well as he ventures to the English capital including Swedish hero Ibrahimovic who has issued a class message.

"Luck you don't need so just enjoy your game," the towering striker posted on Instagram.

United thanked him for his services, too.

Mkhitaryan also posted on social media, sharing an amazing message to everyone involved with Manchester United; from the players, staff and fans, accompanied with a picture of his most famous memory in a red shirt.

"I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Manchester United players and staff and especially the fans for your love, passion and support. I enjoyed having the honour of contributing to the history of your great club by winning the Europa League cup. I will always cherish the memory of that moment and that match. And of my Boxing Day scorpion kick and of hearing the song "Whoa Mkhitaryan..." every time I stepped onto the pitch. I could name many more memories, I enjoyed every moment we shared and cheered together. At this stage of my career, I simply have to enjoy myself on the pitch and play. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and the best of luck to all of you! Life goes on."

How will Mkhitaryan fare at Arsenal? Let us know what you think.
