Yaya Toure was dropped from the Manchester City starting XI for the crunch lunchtime Premier League fixture against Chelsea after getting into trouble with the law earlier in the week.
Numerous sources report that Toure has been charged with drink driving. According to reports, the Ivorian was pulled over by Police.
Toure had started the last two league games against Crystal Palace and Burnley but was left to a role on the bench despite bagging two goals at Palace following being frozen out from the side.
