Xavi Hernandez is yet to take charge of a game as Barcelona manager, but already the new head coach is being linked with an array of star names.
The 41-year-old is expected to be very active in the upcoming transfer windows, as Barcelona attempt something of a rebuild following the underwhelming reign of Ronald Koeman.
However, according to a new report, Xavi is lining up bids for a pair of Manchester City forwards in an attempt to transform the fortunes of the Catalan Giants.

Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo suggest that a double swoop for out-of-favour star Raheem Sterling, as well as youngster Ferran Torres, could be on the cards if Xavi gets his way.
Barca have been linked with both men for several months, with Sterling in particular widely expected to leave the Etihad either on loan - or perhaps even permanently.
The England star has been used sparingly by Pep Guardiola this season, having scored just one Premier League goal so far.

His favoured position on the Left-wing is now occupied by either Phil Foden, or £100 summer signing Jack Grealish - leaving little room elsewhere for the 26-year-old.
Contrastingly, Torres has hit the ground running since joining City last summer from Valencia.
The Spanish international has scored 16 goals in 43 appearances for Pep Guardiola's side, with only a recent injury hampering his progress this season.

Xavi is said to be a huge fan of the 21-year-old winger, but with City seemingly unwilling to let their young prodigy go, the head coach may instead turn his attention to Sterling.
Another player who might be targeted if City aren't willing to negotiate is RB Leipzig star, and former La Masia graduate, Dani Olmo.
Mundo claim the 23-year-old is also on Xavi's wishlist, following a number of impressive campaigns for Die Rotten Bullen in the Bundesliga.

Whether deals can be reached for any of these attacking standouts remains to be seen, as any incoming transfer will hinge upon whether Barca's financial issues have now been rectified or not. Time will ultimately tell.
