Alonso, who left Liverpool in 2009 to join Real Madrid in a £30m deal, spent five seasons at Anfield, making 210 appearances and capturing the Champions League and the FA Cup in the process of becoming a beloved cult hero on the Kop.
Speaking to ESPN on about Klopp, who took over from Brendan Rodgers in October of last year, Alonso said: "It's important to find the right man."

But is Klopp capable of bringing silverware to Anfield, this season? Have your say in the comments section, below.
