According to The Daily Mail, Willian's basic salary at the Gunners is lower than what he earned during his time at Chelsea.
However, the newspaper added that the Arsenal new boy would be rewarded handsomely through his 'huge signing-on fee' and 'loyalty payments and other bonuses.'
The Brazil international could earn up to an astonishing £35m over the course of his time with Arsenal, according to The Daily Mail.

Arsenal's hefty pay package for Willian could come under heavy criticism after the club made 55 staff members redundant earlier this month.
Willian, who was also linked with Barcelona and Inter Miami, spent seven years at Chelsea and won two Premier League titles with the Blues.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta insisted that the former Chelsea star is a signing who will add "versatility" to his squad.
"I believe he's a player that can really make a difference for us," he told Arsenal's website.

"We had a clear intention to strengthen in the attacking midfielder and the winger positions. He is a player that gives us a lot of versatility, he can play in three or four different positions.
"He has the experience of everything in the football world but still has the ambition to come here and contribute to bring the club where it belongs.
"I have been really impressed with all the talks I have had with him and how much he wanted to come."
