Chelsea's Willian has insisted he had absolutely no hesitation snubbing Tottenham for a move to the Blues back in 2013 - and even called playing for the Stamford Bridge club his dream.
The Brazilian international was easily Chelsea's player of the year last season after scoring several spectacular free-kicks in a generally disappointing campaign for the club.

Willian has unquestionably achieved a fans' favourite status but things could have been very different had he decided to opt for another Premier League move when leaving previous club Shakhtar Donetsk.

At the time, it was rumoured Chelsea's London rivals Tottenham were interested in Willian, and the midfielder has confirmed he had an offer from White Hart Lane. But speaking to Chelsea's Youtube channel, via the Daily Star, he doesn't sound too disappointed about the way things have worked out.

He said: "I don't know how I can explain that moment. But it was the best moment I think in my life when I signed with Chelsea because it was my dream to come here.
"When I came I am very, very happy to play for Chelsea, to win titles here, so I am very, very happy."

Willian went on to explain it was tough to move to the Blues instead of Tottenham, adding: "Yes, it was difficult, but I didn't sign. When at the last moment Chelsea call me I say I'm sorry but I go to Chelsea, that's my dream.
"I have to go there, I don't care. I go there."
The 28-year-old has been linked with a move to Manchester United for a reunion with old boss Jose Mourinho after he struggled to win a place in Antonio Conte's side. However, in the last few weeks, Willian has seen more opportunities come his way, and he scored in the 3-1 victory over Manchester City at the weekend.
