Not for the first time in his career, Cristiano Ronaldo got everybody talking. No, not for his record breaking goal - but more so his positioning during the Portuguese national anthem.
Portugal resumed their 2018 World Cup campaign, following the dramatic 3-3 draw against Spain, by beating Morocco thanks to the man himself.
He's now scored more international goals than any other European player in history after netting in the opening minutes of the Group B fixture.

Fear not, Ronaldo fans; the reason why the 33-year-old stood at such angle has been revealed.
It's because of the flag.
He was patriotically staring at his side's flag before kick-off.

In fact, it's actually the same as what Willy Caballero did before his match against Iceland, the Chelsea keeper looked in a different direction to his teammates.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo bagged his fourth goal of the tournament. The 2016 European Champions now face Iran on Monday night ahead of the knockout stage.
Will the Real Madrid star guide his nation to another major international trophy?
