Gareth Bale's Real Madrid future is currently up the air but it seems pretty nailed on that he won't be returning to former club Tottenham Hotspur.
The Welshman was the hero for Real as they beat Liverpool to claim their third Champions League trophy in a row.
Bale scored a breathtaking overhead kick before seeing a second effort slip through the fingers of Loris Karius after coming on as a substitute.
The Southampton youth product cast doubt on his future at the club after revealing his disappointment at his lack of minutes this season.
"I need to be playing week in, week out, and that's not happened this season," Bale told BT Sport immediately after his match-winning exploits.
"I had an injury five, six weeks into the season but I've been fit ever since. I have to sit down with my agent in the summer and discuss it."
You'd suspect that Bale wouldn't be short of potential suitors, with a return to the Premier League often mooted for the two-time PFA Player of the Year winner.
But while Spurs do have a buy-back clause that enables them to match any bid that comes from fellow Premier League side, Simon Stone from the BBC says they would be priced out of a move for the man they sold to Los Blancos for £85 million in 2013.
Spurs aren't known as big spenders as it is, but with Bale having reported wages of around £350,000 to go along with a hefty price tag, the chances of a return happening are incredibly slim.
Links to Manchester United never seem to go away but Bayern Munich would also likely be in the equation should Bale decide it is in his best interests to depart the Bernabeu.
Last month, prior to the Champions League semi-final with Bayen, the 28-year old refused to rule anything out and admitted his flattery over being linked.
"You can never rule out anything in football," he said in an interview with Bild.
"Currently I play at Real Madrid and I enjoy that. Bayern have a fantastic squad and in the past they have always been one of the most successful clubs in Europe. It's an honour for everyone to be linked with this club. But as of now, I am a Real Madrid player."
