Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes has some very strong words regarding Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gabon international looks set to move to Arsenal this January after his relationship with his club broke down.

The former Saint-Etienne and AC Milan striker has scored 141 goals in 212 games for Dortmund, including 13 in 15 Bundesliga games this season.

However, his attitude has come into question and he's been suspended by the club on two occasions this season due to disciplinary issues and was absent from the squad for the 0-0 draw with Wolfsburg on Sunday.

What could have been at Dortmund:

Though there's no denying his goalscoring abilities, Heynckes, in his third permanent stint as manager at Bayern, says he would refuse to sign a player like Aubameyang - and also referred to Ousmane Dembele, who was also accused of acting unprofessionally ahead of his big-money move to Barcelona in the summer.

"Things which happened with Aubameyang and [Ousmane] Dembele I see very critically," said Heynckes in a press conference, as per FourFourTwo.

"The clubs which sign those players have to be aware - they [Aubameyang and Dembele] could do the same to them.

"I would refuse to sign such players. Football is a team sport; you can't just be selfish and follow your own goals. You have to think about the fans as well.

"We have to pay attention so that the fans don't turn their backs on us and football.

"If I see that Arsenal was not really successfully in the last years but their tickets became more and more expensive, that's a problem. In Anderlecht our fans protested against the ticket prices - and they were totally right."

Watch: People being really terrible at football:

Very strong, but perfectly valid points from Heynckes - even if it is rather strange to hear Bayern not being interested in a Dortmund player.

But they are very much still hellbent on raiding the Bundesliga for the best players and it has finally been confirmed that Schalke's Leon Goretzka will be heading to the Allianz Arena on a free in the summer.

Schalke sporting director Christian Heidel announced the news at a press conference:
