What Happened When Two YouTubers Attempted 50 1v1s Against A Premier League Defender

"I'll probably give you both one attempt each."

YouTube stars ChrisMD and TBJZL have gone viral after attempting 50 1v1s against Watford duo Ben Foster and Will Troost-Ekong - with the pair managing to bag a few goals.

Foster is an experienced goalkeeper at the highest level and Troost-Ekong is captain of the Nigeria national team.

Chris and Tobi set themselves the challenge of trying to get past Troost-Ekong and then score past Foster.

It actually went a lot better than you're probably expecting. Check out the video below.

Troost-Ekong was quite confident when it came to his chances and told them: "I'll probably give you both one attempt each."

Foster then interjects with: "I saw your [Chris'] face when we walked in this dome and he looked so nervous! He looked up and it was like oh my God!"

Right before the challenge starts, Troost-Ekong says: "Tom, if he gets more than five goals then we're cutting it off and I'm going home yeah. Mate if he bags a goal I'm gonna have to bin myself!"

The rules are that once a shot is taken or Troost-Ekong makes a touch, the ball is dead and does not count.

It starts off badly for the YouTubers, who try all kinds of skill to get by their opponent but to no avail.

After the first ten, they decide to go more direct and force a few saves out of Foster. Chris also believes he should've had a penalty but you can be the judge of that.

After 25 attempts and zero goals, the rules are slightly tweaked.

Shots can be taken outside the box because in all honesty, Troost-Ekong was eating them both for breakfast.

As soon as the rules are changed, we get our first goal. Toby drifts inside on attempt 27 and lifts it over Foster's head as both players look bemused.

It's Toby who gets the second goal at attempt 31 with a simply outrageous piece of skill that Troost-Ekong and Foster commend.

Chris scores attempt 36 with a lovely side foot finish that he looked very proud of.

Toby grabs the final goal and 4/50 isn't a shabby score at all given the quality of opposition.

Both then get the chance to take a free-kick against Foster and Chris scores his, while Toby's gets caught.
