Everyone - we mean everyone - was in awe of Lionel Messi's masterful performance in the Champions League including Spurs full-back Kieran Trippier.
Messi was in frightening form on Wednesday night against Spurs. He was unplayable; creating opportunities and scoring goals.
Mauricio Pochettino hailed his fellow compatriot, calling him 'unbelievable' and Trippier was also star struck.
The England international started at right-back and was tasked with marking Messi.
But the Bury-native was unable to contain Messi, admitting he had an 'unbelievable' game and is 'magic to watch'.
"He was unbelievable in the game. We all know the quality of a player and when he's in that form he's magic to watch," Trippier said to BT Sports.
Messi ran Trippier ragged at times but it's hard to fault the 28-year-old defender because Messi is the GOAT after all.
The Barcelona skipper received adulation on social media following his 'Man of the Match' performance.
