What Andres Iniesta Has Said About Neymar Potentially Joining Real Madrid

Andres Iniesta has offered his thoughts on Neymar potentially joining Real Madrid.

Neymar, 26, remains heavily linked with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain after securing a world record transfer in 2017.

In the summer, Real Madrid were reportedly keeping tabs on Neymar. Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid for Juventus with the Champions League holders looking to fill his void.

The Brazilian was touted as a replacement though a transfer failed to materialise.

However, his name continues to dominate the transfer rumour mills with Iniesta talking about the possibilities of him signing for Real Madrid.

"It wouldn't hurt me because they are decisions that if they happen, happen. Madrid would reinforce themselves with a unique player," he said.

Iniesta added: "Barcelona have unique players and I see them candidates to win all the titles

"Barca have reinforced themselves well this year. There are people like [Philippe] Coutinho, who has adapted well. I see a powerful team.

"I think it's difficult. Obviously Neymar continues to be one of the best and in any team he would make a difference. But it's not easy to return."

Iniesta played alongside Neymar for four seasons but he wouldn't be hurt if a move transpired.
