Zlatan Ibrahimovic's Statue and House has further been vandalised in the past 24 hours. This comes after the announcement of Zlatan buying a 25% stake of Hammarby IF, direct rival of Malmö FF, Zlatans home Club.
Yesterday morning, someone had hung a toilet seat on the statue of Zlatan Ibrahimovic outside Malmö Stadium as a form of protest of Zlatan's purchase of Hammarby IF.

However, the more comedic protest is no more.
They lit Zlatan’s statue on fire in Malmo after investing in Hammarby. 😳
In the past 24 hours, the state outside of Malmö Stadium was nearly set on fire by masked vandals with flares, as well as spray painted white with racist messaged written around the Statue.
The vandals didn't stop there though and also damaged Zlatan's house in Sweden, including writing 'Judas' on the door of his Stockholm Home.

Ibrahimovic proudly posed with a Hammarby jersey, and announced that the big club will "become the best in Scandinavia". The green-white supporters cheered, but in the south, in Malmö, it was not cheerful mines.

Zlatan's Statue was only unveiled in October, much to the delight of Malmö FF fans at the time, however, the mercenary Zlatan isn't really known for his loyalty.
Brentford Defender and former Malmö player, Pontus Jansson was asked about the Zlatan decision:
"For me, Zlatan has been a role model since I was little. Now he's lost a great deal of respect. I can understand if it's business, but then he shouldn't say those other things about Hammarby. You don't have to be a brain scientist to understand the frustration."
