What Pep Guardiola Has Banned His Players From Doing If They Win Carabao Cup

What Pep Guardiola Has Banned His Players From Doing If They Win Carabao Cup

If Manchester City win the Carabao Cup final against Arsenal this afternoon, then you might notice something a little different when it comes to their post-match celebrations.

When you think about your standard celebrations at Wembley, one of the first things that immediately springs to mind is the classic 'spraying champagne all over your teammates' protocol.

But earlier this week, City manager Pep Guardiola revealed a certain ban will stop players from drinking alcohol.

"Before the celebration we have to play a game. But normally there is no alcohol." Guardiola said via The Mirror.

Guardiola's men were knocked out of the FA Cup fifth round on Monday in a shock defeat to Wigan Atheltic, but it looks like City could be on the way to their first trophy of the season after Sergio Aguero chipped goalkeeper David Ospina in the first half.

Arsenal's official Twitter admitted it just got 'a whole lot harder'
