And, according to the Bleacher Report, had van Gaal been kept on for the final year of his three-year contract, he wanted to introduce the VR goggles that apparently allow "game-play analysis", where players can review match situations through their own eyes.

The ultra-modern techniques are already in use at PSV Eindhoven this season, and give players the opportunity to experience 360-degree scenarios in real-time from previous matches.
