Claudio Ranieri's Drastic New Rule At Leicester Is Anything But Peng

What's mandem doing!?

If the curiously youthful yet eloquent hero of a generation, Mr. Chicken Connoisseur has taught us anything, aside from what chicken shops in London to hit up or avoid, it's that a thick, succulent chicken breast, coated in crispy, golden, well seasoned batter and lathered with salad and SAWCE in a sesame seed bun is a treat that every working man and woman in the land should be entitled to.

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri seemingly thinks otherwise.

The Italian, who routinely treated his team to pizzas en route to their historic league title triumph last year, now finds his Premier League champions languishing in 16th place, hovering just one point above the relegation zone.

Only five games have been won so far, this season, with the East Midlands outfit reserving their finest form for the Champions League, where they will meet Sevilla in the competition's round of 16. Jamie Vardy has just five goals to his name while last season's PFA Player Of The Year Riyad Mahrez looks like he'd rather be anywhere in the world than the King Power Stadium.

According to The Mirror, Leicester's players have become concerned with Ranieri's constant tinkering, whether it's with his weekly first XI or off the field situations, which has now led to the post-match chicken burger being replaced with pasta.

This change to the Foxes' post-match menu by Ranieri is up there with David Moyes banning chips during his 10 month reign of terror as Manchester United manager and Paolo Di Canio ridding Sunderland's canteens of ketchup.

Also, we understand that Claudio's a proud Italian and he undoubtedly sees a plate of penne or bucatini as a healthier form of nourishment, but how can you reward players with pizzas one minute and take away their chicken burgers the next? Why change a winning formula?

We're giving Claudio's new 2016/17 menu a 1.5. For reference, that's a full half a point less than FFC in Mile End rates during episode 11 of Pengest Munch. And that place couldn't even do decent chips.
