With Watford's game against Leicester City postponed as a result of the Coronavirus outbreak that has seen all Premier League and EFL games suspended until early April, the Hornets decided the show had to go on.

The Hornets' media team made the genius decision to simulate the visit of Brendan Rodgers' side on Football Manager 2020 and posted a five minute highlights clip on Twitter.

Watford were dealt an early blow at Vicarage Road when Etienne Capoue was sent off for a dangerous tackle and found themselves 1-0 down in the second half when Marc Albrighton smashed one past Ben Foster with his left foot.

But a late screamer from Roberto Pereyra ensured the points were shared in Hertfordshire.

Watford's clever bit of content follows on from League One side Gillingham playing out their game against Fleetwood on FIFA 20.

The Gills came away with a thumping 16-0 win on their own patch, with the visitors not even mustering a shot on target in the damaging defeat.

Striker Jordan Roberts was handed the matchball at the end of the game after notching four in the resounding victory.

Now we wait for a club to simulate their game on Pro Evolution 6...
