WATCH: Watford’s Nathan Ake Somehow Avoids Injury After Falling Down Pitchside Pit

How Nathan Ake survived this fall into a Vicarage Road pit without injuring himself we'll never know.

The Watford full-back - who is on loan from Chelsea - started his side's English Premier League clash with Bournemouth this afternoon.

But he's lucky to still be involved after jumping over an advertising board at the side of the pitch, only to fall further into a pit. We've watched it a number of times and have no idea why the pit is there, but it appears that Ake - who has been with the club since the start of the season - either didn't know or forgot it was there.
