Despite being on the 30 man Ballon d'Or shortlist alongside his Leicester City teammate Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez hasn't deemed either of the Foxes pair good enough to be named among the top three nominees.
Instead, the Algerian, talking to Goal.com, has picked Cristiano Ronaldo followed by Lionel Messi as his top two (disappointingly predictable, but fair enough) and then 'one or the other' from Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann as his third and final pick.

The 2016 PFA Player Of The Year selected Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane as his Manager Of The Year, while of course giving Claudio Ranieri an appreciative shout out for miraculously guiding Leicester to the Premier League title.
