WATCH: Neymar Reacts Angrily To Brazil Fan After Winning Olympic Gold

As it were, Brazilian star Neymar netted the decisive penalty as they captured the elusive gold medal at the homes games but that didn't stop him from an angry exchange with a fan while celebrating after full-time.

Being the Olympic champions was the only major title which had eluded Brazil. Despite a slow start to the campaign with two goalless draws, prompting criticism from his own supporters, Neymar and Co. started to find their form as they reached the final opposite Germany.

After being subject to intense scrutiny, Neymar delivered the goods in the showpiece event bagging a superb free-kick while scoring the winning penalty in the shootout. Even though they claimed the coveted title, the 24-year-old lost his cool and approached the fans as he vented his anger.

Now it's not certain what triggered this response yet the reaction could be a result of the flak he's received.

The tournament even saw a young lad scribble his name off his shirt in favour of women's star Marta, who failed to get a podium position in the Olympics.
