Fred's Brazilian teammates were seen congratulating him after completing a deal to Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho has wrapped up his first piece of business ahead of the World Cup by securing Fred's services for a reported £52 million.

But before officially linking up with his new club colleagues, Fred continues his international duty with Brazil who's been selected to represent his country in Russia.

The five-time winners continue to gear up for the World Cup by taking on Austria, following victory against Croatia at Anfield thanks to Neymar.

And upon returning to the international fold after undergoing a United medical, Fred was greeted by Neymar.

The Paris Saint-Germain ace approached Fred, and put an arm around his shoulder while exchanging words.

Filipe Luis, who enjoyed a stint in the Premier League with Chelsea, also congratulated Fred.

Fred rose to prominence in Brazil, before sealing a move to Europe by signing with Shaktar Donetsk in 2013.

Following last season, the 25-year-old enhanced his budding reputation while attracting plenty of interest.

English champions Manchester City were also reportedly keen on snapping up the talented player.

As well as Fred, Mourinho further reinforced his squad with the addition of Porto's 19-year-old defender Diogo Dalot.
