WATCH: Luke Shaw Gives First Interview Since Injury Comeback

Luke Shaw has opened up on his agonising 10 months on the sidelines.

The Manchester United full-back made a bright start to the campaign last season before it was cut short after a tackle from PSV Eindhoven defender Hector Moreno in the Champions League.

Shaw's broken leg halted his progress at Old Trafford just as United fans were beginning to see a glimpse of a player who could be worth the £30million they paid Southampton for the defender. And ahead of today's pre-season friendly against Wigan - during which Shaw made his return to the first team - the left-back revealed he's only looking forward and can't wait to break back into the squad under Jose Mourinho.

The 21-year-old defender, who has been capped six times for the England national side, also heaped praise on the staff at United for helping him through his injury rehab and getting him back on to the pitch.
