Henrik Larsson appeared ready to fight his own fans after Helsingborgs were relegated from the Swedish top-flight today.
The Celtic legend is Helsingborgs manager, but he could do nothing to stop his team falling out of the Allsvenskan after losing 2-1 at home to Halmstad this afternoon.
The home supporters were furious at full-time - and some invaded the pitch, targeting his son Jordan, as can be seen in the video below:
Larsson didn't take too kindly to the treatment of his son and almost looked like he was set for a fight as the angry supporters tried to get on to the pitch again:
Although no fighting breaks out, it's sad to see a football legend and his son targeted like this by their own fans. Helsingborgs have finished in 14th after winning just eight games all season - one below the safety of Sundsvall in 13th.
Advert
Now it remains to be seen whether or not Larsson has a future at the club he spent four years of his playing career with. It will also raise question marks over the future of his son, who has a good reputation as one of Sweden's best young players, but probably won't take too kindly to today's reaction from the fans.
