WATCH: Jose Mourinho Keeps His Post-Match Interview Short And Sweet

The United boss only had a few words to say after reaching the EFL Cup final.

His side had just booked their place in the EFL Cup final at Wembley, but Jose Mourinho didn't fancy going into too much detail in his post-match interview.

The United boss was quizzed by Sky Sports after a 3-2 aggregate win over Hull in the EFL Cup semi-final - with Hull's 2-1 win ending United's impressive 18-match unbeaten run but not enough to stop the Red Devils from advancing to the final.

The game featured plenty of controversy as Hull were awarded a soft first-half penalty, Tom Huddlestone slotting home after Marcos Rojo was adjudged to have marked Harry Maguire too tightly.

But referee Jon Moss didn't point to the spot when a similar incident occurred with Huddlestone on Chris Smalling in the second half and that clearly infuriated Mourinho on the bench.

Yet in his post-match summary of the game, birthday boy Mourinho merely congratulated his players and said he "didn't want to say anything else".

He did say a bit more and talked about being "calm" and "behaving on the bench" but that was all he had time for.

Watch the incredibly short interview here:

United were 1-0 down in the first half after that Huddlestone penalty before Paul Pogba levelled things up, poking home from close range and giving United a 3-1 aggregate lead in the 66th minute.

Oumar Niasse netted five minutes from time to put Hull back in the lead on the night and set up a grandstand finish but United went through courtesy of the work they did in the first leg at Old Trafford.

United will face Southampton in the final on February 26.
