Jamie Carragher has been doing his thing on Monday Night Football this evening and he took absolutely no prisoners when it came to criticising Man City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.

The shot-stopper has endured an absolute nightmare since arriving in the Premier League from Barcelona last summer in a deal which saw him controversially replace the popular Joe Hart.

Manchester City are going through a torrid spell in general, with Pep Guardiola's side sitting fifth in the table and outside the lucrative Champions League places, but Bravo's form in particular has been called into question.

Aside from insisting Bravo should be ousted as City's first choice keeper, speaking as a pundit on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football, the ex-Liverpool defender went on to also say: "Bravo hasn't made a lot of mistakes, but does a top keeper save a lot of these? Of course he does.

"De Gea saves it, Courtois saves it, Lloris saves it, Cech saves it. No doubt about it."

And when watching a clip of Chelsea's Willian scoring into Bravo last month, Carragher added: "I mean, Jesus Christ, he's got to save that."

There's no question that's a ruthless piece of punditry, but is Carragher correct to be slaughtering Bravo in such strong terms?
