Watch: Antoine Griezmann Does Not Feature In Atletico Madrid's World Cup Video

The World Cup is just a day away, and ahead of the footballing summer showpiece Atletico Madrid have released a video involving their star players.

But there's a notable omission in Antoine Griezmann.

Griezmann, 27, enjoyed a prolific campaign with Atletico Madrid, last season.

He chipped in with an impressive 29 goals in all competitions while claiming the UEFA Europa League.

He now averts his attention to international duty, and will play a starring role for France.

With the big kick-off approaching, Atletico Madrid posted a video message consisting of their talent in the shape of Diego Costa, Angel Correa, Saul Niguez, Diego Godin and Koke.

However, failing to include Griezmann sent social media into meltdown.

Griezmann remains heavily linked with a mega-money switch away from the Spanish capital.

Barcelona continue to eye up his services with a summer transfer muted.

Griezmann to ply his trade at the iconic Camp Nou from next season?
