Manchester United legend Gary Neville has revealed that the team were so boring to watch last season that he left the ground 10 minutes after half-time during one match.

Neville has re-joined the Sky Sports punditry team for this campaign and will analyse today's action with coverage of Manchester United vs Bournemouth, followed by Arsenal hosting Liverpool.

However it hasn't taken long for Neville to get stuck in, as he claimed the team went through a very difficult period under Van Gaal as they struggled to attract fans to the stadium.

However, Neville is confident that Jose Mourinho has done enough to bring the much-needed excitement-factor back to Old Trafford this season:

Mourinho has handed Premier League debuts to Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Eric Bailly this afternoon as United open their Premier League campaign against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

Here's hoping Neville can at least make it to half-time...
