2016 Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo has made all Sunday League footballers feel a bit better with a terrible miss last night.
The Spanish outfit are in Japan and won their first game of the FIFA Club World Cup tournament, booking their place in the final thanks to a 2-0 win over Club America - ousting the CONCACAF Champions League title holders thanks to goals from Benzema and Ronaldo.
But the Portuguese superstar was also guilty of missing a sitter in the 65th minute, prior to his goal.

Watch his miss here:
To be fair to Cristiano, Benzema does jump in his view just before the ball gets to him - but you'd still expect a player with his quality to still finish that off.
It just proves that even the very best players can let a golden chance go begging.

But Ronaldo didn't rest on his laurels and promptly secured the win in stoppage time for Zinedine Zidane's side.
Real will play Kashima Antlers in the final of the competition on Sunday.
