Just when you thought Thomas Muller had comfortably taken the prize for 'best goal during the international break', his Bayern Munich teammate Arturo Vidal outdoes him in stunning style for Chile against Sweden.
La Roja, who failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup after finishing sixth in South American qualifying, won 2-1 over the Scandinavian outfit.
Vidal notched the opener in the 22nd minute and it was an absolutely thunderous strike. A Chile corner taken by Alexis Sanchez was only partially cleared by the Sweden defence, the ball dropping kindly to the former Juventus midfielder.

Displaying some truly 'unbelievable tekkers', he walloped a half volley right into the top bins.
A strike which really deserved Alan Partridge's 'foot like a traction engine' commentary. Twitter was in absolute awe of Vidal's thunderbastard:
Chile's lead lasted less than a minute as former Sunderland man Ola Toivonen finished off a flowing team move to level matters immediately.

The visitors snatched the win when Marcos Bolados struck in stoppage time, ensuring Reinaldo Rueda kicked off his stint with a victory.
