Watch: Arjen Robben Has The Best Reaction To Celtic Park's Atmosphere

The look on his face is priceless

Celtic Park has long been known as the ground which is immensely popular with visiting footballers, with the Bhoys fans regularly whipping up a frenzied atmosphere intended to intimidate away teams and put fire in the bellies of the home side.

The likes of Barcelona, Juventus and Manchester United have all come away from Champions League games at Parkhead empty handed, with Lionel Messi and Xavi naming the stadium as their favourite ground to play at outside of the Camp Nou.

And last night, ahead of the Hoops' 2-1 home defeat to Bayern Munich, that famous cacophony of sound that can only be generated by 60,000 amped up Glaswegians thundered from every corner of Celtic Park and caused Arjen Robben to have the most perfect reaction possible.

The Dutchman has experienced just about everything there is to experience in football including playing in a World Cup final, El Clasicos and scoring the last minute winner in a Champions League final at Wembley. Yet even the most weathered heads in the modern game can still be taken by surprise, as the Bayern winger was during the lineups before kick-off, last night.

Goals from Kingsley Coman and Javi Martinez either side of a Callum McGregor equaliser saw Brendan Rodgers' team eliminated once again at the group stage, but the memory of the match will remain with Robben forever, with the former Real Madrid and Chelsea man saying after the match, via the Daily Record, "That was very respectful from the Celtic fans. I have rarely experienced anything like that."

Bayern Chief Executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge added in a post-match speech, "That was a football experience of pure culture.

"Throughout the night we felt goosebumps. It was an atmosphere that felt a bit like the old days. It was a terrific night."

Given the atmosphere generated by the Celtic Park crowd, it's a shame we won't be seeing more of it after the group stages are completed, next month.
