Newcastle legend Alan Shearer has taken a massive swipe at Liverpool for their FA Cup exit at the hands of Wolves yesterday, and criticised Jurgen Klopp's decision to give so many youngsters a chance in the first-team.
Klopp's Reds went crashing out of the competition after losing to the Championship side 2-1 at home - just three days after they exited the EFL Cup at the semi-final stage.
Rather than shower Wolves with praise for their showing at Anfield, Shearer turned his attention to Liverpool, and bemoaned the fact the club aren't even in Europe this season:
Liverpool have just one win in 2017, and that came away from home against League Two side Plymouth, so is it more correct to suggest that the Premier League club are just really out of form?
What do you make of Shearer's assessment, and the way Jurgen Klopp has prepared his team of late?
