On Thursday afternoon, David Edwards will line up for Wales againt England and will be facing not just a former teammate, but a former lodger.
Edwards, now with Wolves, used to play for Shrewsbury Town and 10 years ago rented out his spare room to none other than England number one, Joe Hart.
The pair were teammates at the Shrews for three years before Hart moved onto Manchester City in 2006. Edwards then spent a brief spell with Luton Town, before moving to Wolves, in 2008, where he has remained ever since, making over 250 appearances.
Hart's career may have brought him more silverware and success than Edwards', but the Welshman could have the last laugh on Thursday should Chris Coleman's men defeat the Three Lions and put Roy Hodgson's men on the verge of a second consecutive group stage elimination at major international tournaments.
