Cristiano Ronaldo converted two spot-kicks for his side while Karim Benzema also slotted home from 12-yards.
The Frenchman successfully hit the back of the net despite his former Real Madrid colleague Pepe telling Patricio where to dive.
Moments before Benzema stepped up, Pepe told Patricio to dive left (keeper's right) - frantically waving his arms.
However, the Wolves man ignored the veteran defender's instructions and dived the other way.

Naturally, the 38-year-old was fuming with Patricio as Benzema wheeled away in celebration.
Some fans reckon he wouldn't have saved it anyway even if he had dived the right way.
One tweeted: "No way he's saving that even if he dived the right way."

A second wrote: "Patricio certainly showed his worth later on though."
A third added: "Still no saving that with two goalies in."
Benzema's spot-kick cancelled out Ronaldo's penalty, with the Blancos forward scoring two minutes after the restart.
