A video showing Harry Maguire hours before his arrest has emerged online.

In a clip from Mykonos Live TV, Maguire can be seen looking rather sheepish and awkward in a bar on the Greek island. At the start he is heard chatting to someone and asking if they are "okay".

There is then plenty of loud chanting from lads in the bar while Maguire stands there on his own, nervously looking at his phone before putting it away.

After a bit, the Manchester United captain, makes his way out of the bar alongside his other half, Fern Hawkins.

Mere hours later and Maguire, who was with two other men at the time, is alleged to have been involved in an altercation with some fans who were goading him.

It's said Maguire reacted angrily and a fight broke out between two groups, causing police to arrive and try to diffuse the situation. But it's said tempers continued to flare. It's claimed that at least two policemen were "thrown down" after one of the men aimed a swing.

They are then reported to have been punched and kicked, suffering facial injuries as a result.

As per a statement from Greek police, there was also a bribery attempt made after the three individuals "strongly resisted, pushing and hitting three police officers" upon their arrival at the police station.

After his arrest, England defender Maguire was transported from Mykonos to the neighbouring island of Syros and is slated to appear in front of the public prosecutor and face charges of aggravated assault on Saturday.

However, fresh reports from the Daily Mail say the former Hull City man will instead spend a second night in jail.

Maguire denies the allegations, with his lawyer Konstantinos Darivas "fully convinced he will be released without any charges" according to the BBC.
