Manchester United Loanee Claims Jose's Promised Him First Team Action Next Season

Really? Jose?

It would be fair to say that Jose Mourinho doesn't exactly have the best reputation when it comes to young players but according to one of United's most promising players he's been told he is in Mourinho's plans for next season.

The 'Special One' is best known for his big signings and small squads and very rare reliance on young, talented and raw players. He came to Old Trafford and tried to put that reputation behind him but the lack of football for Marcus Rashford had people talking and he's not the only youngster not to feature in plans this season.

Brazilian midfielder Andreas Pereira was sent out on loan to Granada for the season as, just like last year under Louis van Gaal, it seems that the 20 year old isn't seen as a first team player. However, speaking to Brazilian newspaper Globo Esporte he's claimed that the former Real Madrid manager sees him in his first team plans for next season:

"Mourinho told me that he likes my style of play a lot and that he liked what I did in pre-season. He wants to see how I play in Spain and then wants me to go back and play for him next season."

Pereira made his first team debut under Louis van Gaal last season and scored in the league cup against Ipswich but despite not being allowed to go out on loan in January he fell out of favour under LvG and whilst the likes of Rashford and Timothy Fosu Mensah were given the chance to shine the Brazilian wasn't.

Rashford ended up in the England team and despite a lack of first team football so far this season he did come off the bench to win the Hull game for the Red Devils and Jose has promised him more football.

The question remains whether or not the 'Special One' can actually change his ways with young players.
