Jose Mourinho has reacted to Spurs beating Real Madrid in the Champions League in typical Jose fashion.

Manchester United defeated Spurs in the Premier League over the weekend, with the North London outfit bouncing back by trouncing the defending European champions, Real Madrid.

Spurs secured all three points after smashing Real Madrid 3-1 at Wembley Stadium, pulling off a stunning victory courtesy of heroics from Dele Alli.

The ex-MK Dons man netted a brace, either side of the break, with Christian Eriksen sealing the win by completing a brilliant counter-attack.

They not only emphatically beat Real Madrid but also Liverpool earlier in October. While they had to play United at Old Trafford, Spurs failed to score against Mourinho's side. He employed a defensive tactic which ultimately churned out an important league victory.

And the Portuguese gaffer duly pointed that out in his press conference.

Mourinho said: "Tottenham beat Liverpool 4-1, Real Madrid 3-1, but didn't score against us. My players deserve a little bit of credit."

The United faithfuls were loving what Mourinho said:

Do United deserve more credit? Let us know.
