Manchester United 'Agree' €10m Deal For 16-Year-Old Monaco Midfielder Hannibal
Manchester United have reportedly 'reached a €10m deal' to sign the highly rated Hannibal Mejbri from Monaco.
According to RMC Sport's Mohamed Bouhafsi, the Red Devils have increased their offer to land the 16-year-old midfielder.
United have been linked with the youngster in recent weeks
and were ready to launch an initial €4m bid for the Monaco wantaway.
The relationship between the midfielder's family and the
Ligue 1 side turned sour as they demanded for the player's release.
But Monaco held firm on their position towards Hannibal, whose contract does not expire until 2021.
The French side wanted to turn a profit on Hannibal, who has been linked with Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Lyon, instead of terminating his current deal and allowing him to walk on a free.
Hannibal will be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's third summing signing following the acquisitions of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James.
The Red Devils have also been linked with Juventus star Paulo Dybala, 25, as part of a swap deal for Inter Milan target Romelu Lukaku.
Solskjaer, 46, has also wanted to
add an experienced midfielder to his ranks after the departure of Ander Herrera.
Sporting CP star Bruno Fernandes, 24, has been linked with a
stunning move to Old Trafford this summer.
The United boss is also eyeing up an additional centre-back
and Leicester City star Harry Maguire, 26, is also linked with the club in a potential £80m deal.
