Jorge Masvidal still has plenty left to achieve in the boxing game but the 'Gamebred' fighter doesn't see himself competing in MMA for too long.

In a new interview, the 33-year old talked about his desire to win the UFC welterweight title to go along with the one-time BMF belt he claimed at UFC 244, but stressed he will be done and dusted in three years.

"Before I close the next chapter and go on to whatever the fuck in my life, I'm gonna get that belt and whoever has it, I'm gonna take their head off," Masvidal told MMAmania.com.

"Then I'm gonna defend that belt and I'm gonna kick whoever they put in front of me's ass. I'm gonna separate myself from the pack by eliminating people by having somebody stop me from doing further damage.

"I got about three years left, then I'll hang up the gloves comfortably. Not because I need to, but because I want to. I'll have enough money and everything I wanted to accomplish in these three years. It's more of a matter of who's going to bring me the most money in this next fight."

There are plenty of money match-ups for Masvidal in the future. He seems destined to face Conor McGregor, with both fighters keen on the bout, while he's surely well in with a shout of facing the winner of Kamaru Usman vs Colby Covington for the title.

What's more, he's also genuinely serious about taking on Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match after the 50-0 fighter announced a return to the ring in association with UFC president Dana White.

The Cuban-American predicts a big 2020 and fancies his chances of causing Mayweather some problems with his approach.

"2019 was cool. But, if you like violence, 2020 will be a very powerful year," Masvidal told TMZ.

"We've got a lot of options. I've got a lot of lottery tickets in my hand.

"I can box my ass off. Not saying I'm a better boxer than Mayweather, but man, I'm gonna be in there with bad intentions trying to hurt him.

"I'm a well-conditioned athlete that's not gonna fade. I'm not gonna fade in the 8th or 9th round. I'm gonna be there for the whole night.

"If you're looking for a fight, I'm right here. If you're looking for an easy paycheck, go back to Japan and beat up those little guys."
