UEFA have put together a complete guide on how to correctly pronounce the names of the stars who will light up the European Championship this summer.

With just days until the showpiece begins, the European football governing body have educated fans on the proper pronunciations for many of the players across the 24 national teams competing.

None of England's squad are included because UEFA believe the player names are "all pretty simple" - but there are a number of names elsewhere that we have been saying wrong all this time.

Notable mentions include Portuguese trio Pepe (Pep), Ruben Neves (Nevsh) and Bruno Fernandes (Fur-nandsh), Ilkay Gundogan (Eel-kay Goon-doe-wan), N'Golo Kante (N-go-lo Kon-tay) and Çağlar Söyüncü (Cha-la Ser-yoon-choo).
