UEFA have whittled down to two candidates for the Champions League 2020 final.

Cardiff's beautiful Millennium Stadium hosted last seasons final between Real Madrid and Juventus, with Kiev, Ukraine's, Olimpiyskiy National Sports Complex staging this campaign's showpiece in the summer.

Atletico Madrid's brand spanking new home will take center stage in the 2018/19 season.

And either Lisbon or Istanbul will stage the 2020 final.

Istanbul's Ataturk Olympic Stadium is hoping to entertain Europe's two finest teams in 2020 after holding the classic final between Liverpool and AC Milan in 2005.

Liverpool came back from 3-down to eventually secure the 'Big Ears' on penalties.

Benfica's Estadio da Luz also want in on the action again following the 2014 final. Real Madrid beat cross-town rivals Atletico in another dramatic encounter.
