Barcelona star Lionel Messi received 33 points while Juventus ace Cristiano Ronaldo received 18 points as they were ranked fifth and eighth, respectively, in the UEFA Forward of the Year 2019/20 results.

Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski was named UEFA Forward of the Year following an ultra-prolific campaign last season.
He scored an incredible 55 goals in all competitions, beating the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and teammate Serge Gnabry to the prestigious award.
Erling Haaland finished in fifth place alongside Messi with Thomas Muller and Ronaldo ranked seventh and eighth, respectively.
Paris Saint-Germain's Angel Di Maria and Liverpool's Sadio Mane made up the top ten.
