Trent Alexander-Arnold Creates Premier League History During Wolves Vs. Liverpool

Trent Alexander-Arnold has become the first defender to record 10 or more assists in multiple Premier League seasons.

The 21-year-old brilliantly created Liverpool's goal against Wolves as he whipped in a superb corner for Henderson who bundled home in the eighth minute.

The right-back brought up his 10th assist of the season and in doing so, became the first defender to register 10 or more assists in multiple league campaigns.

He's now got an impressive 22 assists since the start of last season, which is one more than Lionel Messi.

Alexander-Arnold is five behind Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne who has 15 assists this term.

Naturally, the England international's heroics got fans talking on social media.
